  • excellent customer reviews can be found on almost any product. So, not only do you have the technical descriptions of manufacturers of electronic equipment, but you get the 'plain-truth' feedback from people who have used the product as well.

Recently I ordered a high school language text book from the amazon bookstore online. It was one of those "hard to find" books on latin root words that we just could not find at a local store.

Amazon had it - and it was easy to find. We just entered the title in the search box and before you could twiddle your thumb, there was the listing.

They shipped it for free and we received it on time within same week. That was just one of several book purchases I have made on amazon.com over the years.

Computer and electronic equipment

When I wanted to change my home network router to one that had wireless capability, I went to amazon.com. I used the customer reviews about the different products and the manufacturers' technical descriptions and the choice was easy to make.

I chose a great router that now gives me wired and wireless connections to my computers and a print server as well.

The delivery was delightfully quick and now my network changeover to the new router was made just as quickly.

Self-help books and software

Your online amazon book store is right at home... literally. It is easy to find any resource you need.
